Weeks 27/28 Christmas and New Years!

Well, I did not write a post last week because of Christmas eve and Christmas day. James' birthday was last Monday as well and we also had a doctors appointment so it was just a little extra busy :)

Christmas was bitter sweet, last year at this time I was 3 1/2 months pregnant with a little baby boy, (I didn't know at the time) expecting him to be celebrating with us this Christmas as a happy healthy 6 month old for his first Christmas. Instead we said good by to our little angel 8 months ago and that was the hardest thing I will probably ever have to do in my life. I pray anyway.

This New Year, we are now expecting a little baby girl to join us in the next couple months! I am 7 months along tomorrow and time is just slipping away. It's crazy how fast it feels this year has gone by. I'm just thrilled and anxious and afraid and excited and everything in between for McKenna to get here! I'm just looking for some happiness and excitement this year and make 2013 the best year ever.

And now to update

Total weight gain/loss: Alright alright alright, ugh what a lovely checkup I had on Christmas Eve.... I'm now at a total of 13 pounds gained. AHHH My dr wasn't worried so I have to make sure next month is less and then there is nothing to be afraid of. I just don't want to see preeclampsia ever again... poop

Maternity clothes: I've been loving my stretchy shirts and leggings and maternity jeans  :)

Stretch marks: Nothing new-

Best moment this wk: Constant baby movement!! She's a mover, like her brother!

Miss anything: Restless sleep :)

Movement: Absolutely, I'm beyond thankful for all the movement. It keeps me sane, because when she's not moving I go crazy until she moves again lol

Food cravings: Sweet now, weird- and crunchy and fruity and cold

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing specific.

Symptoms: Round ligament pain and hip pain and lower back pain haha everything's moving

Have you started to show yet: I sure am, no question lol

Gender: It's a girl! And her name is McKenna Lee

Labor signs: None at all, good thing!

Belly Button in or out: In

Wedding rings on or off: On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Depends on the day hahah

Looking forward to: The baby shower, it's coming up soon! And in a couple weeks we start the non stress test which will be awesome since then I get to see McKenna every week until she arrives and then I'll know that all is well and she will get here safely and when she's ready.

26 weeks and so much is happening in this world

Another week down and I'm getting anxious. Not the best thing with a max of 3 months to go...
All is well though so I can't complain :)

I have had an exciting week this last week and also 2 of my friends have both brought little baby boys into the world a day apart I'm so excited for them!!

On a not so happy note, I once again fell down- this time while I was at work, with two clients processing and a shop full of co-workers so everyone got to witness my lack of stability and grace. At first I was completely fine, I was actually on the ground laughing. I fell like my feet slipped straight out in front of me, it felt cartoonish in a way. It was about half an hour later I got weird pains and cramps so I called James to come get me and we got to spend a good few hours hooked up to monitors, had blood work done, and got an ultrasound to make sure all was well with McKenna.

All is well with McKenna, she's the just lucky one with the clumsiest mother in the entire world UGH

Ok ok ok

Another not so happy note, with Christmas literally around the corner I've been preparing and planning for a little girl to join us in the new year but cannot keep from wondering how things might have been. Wyatt would have been 8 months old this Christmas and I can't help but be sad about knowing we don't have exciting gifts and toys under the tree for him. It's just so hard to be happy when this is usually the happiest time of the year. I am happy, it's just hard. I miss my little man more than anything but again, I'm excited to tell his little sister about him and I hope he will help our little family become closer and stronger as the years go by. He is another example of who we should strive to be like.

I have had a hard time, just like everyone one else who has been paying attention to the news, dealing with the shooting in Connecticut. I was just watching the Voice from last night and saw them singing Hallelujah holding the names of those lost. I completely broke down. THEN I saw a post of a collage of pictures of all lost and that was it for me. A face to the name, and all I can say is I'm grateful to know that all those lost are with their Heavenly Father and it isn't for us to know or judge the how's and why's here on this earth. It will never make sense to us and it is something we should try to help people with for the future.

I really don't know what else to say, there is so much that could/should/would have been done and we should really put our focus on our families and friends and do our best to teach the future generations to love one another and to respect themselves and those around them. Imagine this world if we loved ourselves, and everyone as much as we should love ourselves. There would ben no hate and anger or abuse and violence- you would hope :/ Now if could just live this way. It always starts with us.

Ok status time

Total weight gain/loss: Still at 6lbs total. I'm ok with that :) We will see where I am next week

25 weeks

Time is flying and I'm super excited. Christmas is literally around the corner and then will be the baby shower and then little McKenna will be here!!! Can't wait!

Last Wednesday we had our appointment with our perinatologist and he was really happy with how McKenna is growing. She was right on track for everything. He couldn't get a clear enough shot of her abdomen but she was right under my bellybutton where it's darkest in the ultrasound but from what he could see all was well. Her legs even measured a week farther along than she is... hummm maybe she'll get her dad's long legs!! Her heart beat was perfect and the blood flow through the umbilical cord was perfect and that's what my biggest concern. I was really excited to hear everything was great! We will see him again soon and I'm really excited about that appointment :)

Status update :)

24 weeks!!! 6 whole months :)

Wow finally 24 weeks along! Only one more month until my weekly appointments and I'm actually really excited about this!!!!!!! This last week has been much better than the one before haha, no accidents of any sort thankfully. It's been a busy week as usual but I've been able to work it out pretty well. I'm loving the weather and hoping it lasts. And I still love time flying by, it's pretty fantastic!!

Even being so excited about time flying by I still can't believe that Christmas is really only 3 weeks away- OH MY GOSH! We are running out of time here hahaha. But it's just so great- really great. Everyday is another day closer to getting to meet little McKenna :)

Here's to week 23

Howdy everyone, another week down and 17 or less to go.
We don't have long until Christmas and that will bring us even closer to the baby shower and just around the corner from there will be the arrival of this little baby girl McKenna!

This last week was fun, busy and eventful haha. I sure worked a lot and thankfully didn't over eat. James and I really enjoyed Thanksgiving, really getting to spend time just the two of us. We are limited there so it was nice to relax.

On a not so exciting note, I tripped up my couple stairs (our house is split level) late Friday night and scared the crap out of myself. I bruised my head, chest, elbow, and knee. I fell on my right side but flat out and thankfully for Hooch, his back end broke my fall and kept me from falling right onto my stomach. All is well, Dr was called, McKenna kicked and continues to kick like it was the best ride of her life and wants to do it again. I don't know what my deal is but in October I fell down the stairs and landed on one knee and this time I fell up the stairs. I'm going to drive myself crazy and feel like I want to just quit everything and lay in bed until this baby is born to keep anything else terrible from happening. James said he's going to put me in a bubble like Bubble Boy. UGH He is not very happy with me and my clumsiness.

Now that that's over, here's this weeks update :)

Total weight gain/loss: Ugh so this was fun, my last weigh in brought me to 6lbs total gain. I made it 5 months with a 3 lb total gain and went and gained all 3 in one month. POO but it's not bad at all I'm not really all that worried about it.
Maternity clothes: I've been loving my stretchy shirts and leggings :)

Stretch marks: Nothing new-

Best moment this wk: Constant baby movement!! She's a mover, like her brother! James was finally able to be patient enough to feel her wiggle around for the first time on Thanksgiving. That was exciting. He didn't know what to expect with Wyatt so that took much longer for him to notice movement with him,

Miss anything: Wyatt, but who doesn't

Movement: Absolutely, I'm beyond thankful for all the movement. It keeps me sane

Food cravings: Spicy and crunchy and fruity and cold

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing specific.

Symptoms: Sciatica. It's not fun AT ALL and I have it constantly, just some times it's much worse than others.

Have you started to show yet: Yeah- no doubt. I'm showing more and a lot more quickly than with Wyatt

Gender: It's a girl! And her name is McKenna Lee

Labor signs: None at all, good thing!

Belly Button in or out: In

Wedding rings on or off: On

Happy or Moody most of the time: I've had some specific thoughts and words focused at myself the last few days but besides that I'm happy :)

Looking forward to: Next Wednesday- we have an appointment with a specialist and we will get to see everything and be checked for anything that could be going on. I'm thankful to be able to get in with him even this late in the pregnancy. We will be able to see and know so much more than if we had only gone in at 13 weeks. Thanksgiving Miracles :)

Happy Happy Thanksgiving to all of our friends and family.

We are not just thankful for you and all we have, we are grateful and beyond blessed.

I am thankful every day of my life for who I am and where I've come from. For the amazing parents who raised me and my husband,  and for our siblings who are always there no matter what we have been through. I am especially thankful to my Heavenly Father for my strong, loving, caring, patient (for the most part <3) kind, generous, hard working and frustratingly stubborn husband who has been through EVERYTHING with me. He has been a true rock and I cannot tell you where I would be if it weren't for him. I love you James and you surprise me everyday.

Today is our 9th Thanksgiving holiday together and I'm so excited to have a bajillion more. We only have mere weeks (ok few months) left until we get to meet this precious little girl who our Heavenly Father has entrusted to us. One miracle we have come across this Thanksgiving holiday- she now has a name!!!

James and I have agreed to name our beautiful daughter McKenna Lee. FINALLY A NAME FOR THIS LITTLE ONE!!!

It has been hard thinking of names since there are so many options, and Wyetta really wasn't going to work haha. Wyatt probably would have loved the idea, he was so special "we named his sister after him" haha oh man. Imagine? haha

Well Wyatt is special and I'm thankful at least if he can't be here with us, he is in the absolute best place possible. To sit at the foot of our Heavenly Father and watching over his family, loving and protecting us. We were blessed with a special spirit, a true Warrior. Only he is fighting a battle beyond this world. I am thankful again to know that I will hold him in my arm again one day.

I love you all and care for you deeply. You have been there for me and my family in our most difficult times and have proven your love for us. What more could anyone ask for but to love and be loved by others. From love comes all things.

Happy Thanksgiving from The Lamason family.

22 woo hoo!

Hey there, another week down and officially 18 weeks or less to go!!

This last week has been kind of hard for me, I don't really know what triggered it all but of course it's memories of Wyatt that have been keeping me up at night and in the middle of the night. I still have a hard time dealing at, I want it to be easier, and I know it all comes with time, trust me you won't be telling me anything I don't know already but it doesn't change how I feel.

I am very thankful that I am expecting Wyatt's little sister to join us this new year but it doesn't change that her brother isn't here with us and at times I feel almost guilty to be excited for her. I don't have a better way of explaining myself. UGH. Anyway. It has been a true blessing to know how fantastic this pregnancy is going and how amazing Dr Prema is with us and watching over us. A true, true blessing in times of worry and doubt :/

Now that I have completely depressed you just two days to Thanksgiving- lol oh man Jennifer-
STATUS UPDATE!!

Total weight gain/loss: My next appointment is tomorrow so I will know how I did this last month- I'd be happy if my numbers are under 5 lbs haha. I worry every month but I still am (until tomorrows weigh in haha) only 3 lbs in so I'm happy with that

Maternity clothes: I've been loving my stretchy shirts and leggings :)

Stretch marks: Nothing new-

Best moment this wk: Constant baby movement!! Still waiting for DAD to catch her movements but every time, just like Wyatt, I'll call him over and of course the movement stops haha EVERYTIME!

Food cravings: Spicy and crunchy and fruity and cold

Gender: It's a girl! And she needs a name!!

Labor signs: None at all, good thing!

Wedding rings on or off: On

Happy or Moody most of the time: A little bit of both but it's all influenced from the world around me... some people are just too difficult sometimes

21 weeks woah baby

Alright, another week done and gone! It's really been great to see time fly on by :) not a lot of you out there who agree with me but OH WELL I'm soo soo soo thankful for the days that disappear haha. There are times where I freak out that time is running out but then I have to remind myself that there will be time to do some of the things I'm worrying about after the baby gets here. As long as the house is prepared and clothes are washed I think we will be just fine :)

This last week has been pretty crazy with work again. I'm still not working wild hours but it's been pretty good. I still forget to take a break sometimes in between clients but I'm not hurting so bad at the end of the day. I'm sorry to some of you who are having a difficult time getting in with me, last minute just isn't working in my favor with the Holidays coming up. Everyone wants in and there are only so many hours in a day, yet only so many hours I'm allowed to be on my feet. SO there you go lol.

19 weeks!!!!

A day late but I've been so busy helping take care of my niece while family have been away taking care of some stuff but I'm glad I've had the time to spend with Valentina. She's been great, so much better than she normally is and that's a treat to me hahah! She's been having her moments with James' sister and his mom lately and the little fit throwing and all. I was expecting this but nope she's been a blast. Muahahaha.

So 19 weeks today!!! And we know it's a girl so that's pretty dang exciting!
Now the hard part LOL picking a name. It took some time to decide that Wyatt was Wyatt so who knows how this will be picking a girls name. I had a whole bunch of boy names picked out but girl names seem much more difficult. Oh well we will get there when we get there.

18 weeks... almost half way

This last week was very eventful. Birthday birthday birthday. But it's always a fun week and it goes by quickly! A fantastic thing for me right now haha. Last tuesday was Sam's girlfriends birthday, wednesday was my dad's, friday was mine and we threw my mom an awesome surprise party! And today was my mom's! It really was a fun fun week.

One not so fun thing for me though, tomorrow, could things have gone differently the day I was addmitted to the hospital, Wyatt would have been 6 months old. It's a sad realization and strange thought to see how much time has gone by.

I'm 4 1/2 months pregnant with Wyatt's next sibling and as an early birthday present to me James and I went in and had a gender determination ultrasound the night before my birthday to find out that we are expecting a little girl!

This is all exciting as it's own experience. Finding out we are having a girl, in a weird way, snapped me farther into reality that this is a brand new pregnancy and that all my feelings and experiences are specific to this little girl and I know to everyone else this seems like a no brainer but some times I haze into feelings, almost like blurring my first and second pregnancies together. BUT now knowing it's a girl really is a defining moment HAHA. Well, I didn't say I wasn't crazy. ANYWAY
On with the update :)

Total weight gain/loss: until my next appointment, I'm still only 2 lbs in hahaha but we will know by wednesday

Maternity clothes: I got a few new tops and a pair of leggings, THANKS MOM!:) It was nice to get real maternity clothes and not just larger size clothing like last time. I'm showing so much more so much faster :/ and it's nice to have longer shirts that fit and cover and I can feel comfortable in.
Stretch marks: Nothing new-

Miss anything: Not looking so huge

Movement: Absolutely, most definitely at night and most of the time after I eat I can tell

Food cravings: Salty... that's all I can say

Well I'll be 17 weeks tomorrow and it sure is exciting. Only a few mere weeks away from half way! I'm so grateful for the time to be flying by as qickly as it seems even though there are days in between that sure drag on haha. I just went in and had my second trimester screening done today, for the SECOND TIME in a week actually- Because the lovly technician spelled my name wrong so my sample was rejected. BOO but oh well it was done again and in plenty of time so no harm done.

Also this is a pretty eventful week (next 7 days) coming up for my family it's BIRTHDAY WEEK!!! My parents and I share our birthdays just days apart from eachother and this year we have another October birthday to add to our BIRTHDAY WEEK! Sam's girlfriend Lillie's birthday will start us off :) Her birthday is tomorrow Tuesday the 16th, my dad's birthday is Wednesday the 17th, my birthday is Friday the 19th and my mom's birthday is monday the 22nd. This is going to be so much fun and this is my second birthday in a row where I'm pregnant haha.
